Providing Real Training for Real Dogs for Real Life
Blue Line Dogs is partnered with the Los Angeles Police Department via a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to provide Therapy Dog teams to Sworn and Civilian employees as part of the Department Wellness Program.
This is at no cost to to the Department.
Each Team Member is registered as a Reserve Officer or Volunteer of the LAPD.
The teams are deployed at the discretion of the Chief of Police for routine and crisis visits to Department facilities and activities.
Blue Line Dogs is partnered with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department via a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to provide Therapy Dog teams to Sworn and Civilian employees as part of the Department's Wellness Program.
The Therapy Dog Program is part of the many mental wellness programs offered through the Department that include professional staff and deputies who are trained in peer support to provide services to deputies and their families at no cost.
Currently there are dogs stationed at the Carson Station and Lomita station. The handlers of the dogs are Department Law Enforcement Technicians and Civilian Volunteers.
Blue Line Dogs is partnered with the Vernon Police Department via a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to provide Therapy Dog teams to Sworn and Civilian employees as part of the Department's Wellness Program.
The Therapy Dog Program is part of the Department's mental wellness program.
